Our Work and Client Spotlights

  • We’ve worked with MIRTH Caftans since 2022, beginning with a comprehensive Audit and transitioning into Retainer & Project Support. We’ve guided color, print, and design direction of new seasonal collections, supported the brand in the evolution and maturing of their assortment, implemented new efficiencies between internal development teams and suppliers, refined product fit and construction to increase customer satisfaction and reduce return rates, streamlined and reduced errors in their production process, supported the hiring and onboarding of their first design team hire, and much more.

  • “Audrey's depth of understanding of design & technical knowledge has transformed our production. She streamlined and problem solved our design, product development, and production process, which has increased efficiency, reduced errors, made our suppliers happier-- ultimately both helping us financially and in a better end product.  This, combined with her supportive and positive demeanor, made working with her the best choice we could have made as a business. I had been looking for an expert to come in and "fix" us in so many different areas-- and Audrey was this and more. Her impact has been huge!”

  • “As a small business that was looking for a way to be financially smart while also getting the best expertise for my unique denim idea, the support I received from Audrey was essential. Audrey has a lot of industry experience and she proved just that. However, not only was she helpful in terms of designing the exact denim I wanted (shape, fit, length, style) and connecting me with the right vendors, she was there for me each step of the way to answer all my questions - judgment free. I felt so comfortable with Audrey - important when working with someone! Thank you, Audrey!”

    — Cici, Founder of Short Girl Jean

  • The owner of Short Girl Jean, Cici, came to us in 2022 with the dream of launching the first luxury denim label for short women. Through our 12 Months to Launch project, we created the perfect pair of jeans exclusively for short women, customizing every detail to fit and flatter bodies between 4’7-5’3. We managed every step of the design, development, and production process to bring these jeans to market in Fall 2023. Short Girl Jeans are Oeko-Tex certified and are responsibly composed of a post-consumer recycled cotton + sustainably sourced cotton blend. And they fit shorties like a charm!

  • We began working with New Orleans-based womenswear brand Lekha in 2020, on a variety of projects including seasonal collection development, custom textile and print design, and implementing new processes to streamline development and production with suppliers. Our Retainer & Project Support provides the support necessary to see through ongoing and overlapping projects to successful completion, all the while tracking important growth metrics to move the brand to the next level.

Fashion Product Collaboration Lekha Our Place Diwali by Audrey Adele
  • We work with brands on executing product collaborations via Retainer & Project Support. When Our Place pitched Lekha with a Diwali cookware collaboration, Lekha tapped us to help bring it to life. We translated Lekha’s inspiration and rough ideas into viable product specs and artworks to hand-off to the Our Place team. We designed an etched slotted spoon with a custom floral artwork, a cooling rack, and two hand-carved Diyas.

  • In 2021, we embarked on a creative project to explore what it looks like to launch a sustainable capsule collection composed entirely of vintage and deadstock textiles. We walked through our 12 Months to Launch process to bring the Adele Rose ‘Origin Stories’ collection to life. We successfully managed the unconventional manufacturing process of using found materials, gaining valuable insights alongside our suppliers and small-batch producers throughout the project.

  • The Audrey Adele label is an exclusive bridal and occasionwear collection we created in collaboration with Anthropologie Weddings, launched in 2022 to great commercial success. Inspired by Audrey’s vintage collection, the Audrey Adele label emphasizes intricate embroideries in approachable silhouettes. We work closely with our network of specialty embroidery artisans throughout India to create each original design in the collection.

  • When Rachel Parcell was in transition in their design department, we stepped in as a design lead on new seasonal collection development, through Retainer & Project Support. We guided fabric and print sourcing, design of new seasonal collections, and supported the brand in elevating their identity, leading to a highly anticipated collection re-launch in 2023.

  • We worked with Rachel Parcell and the Blue Sky team to concept and design a collaboration of planners and calendars for Blue Sky’s 2024/2025 calendar year, via Retainer & Project Support, translating the Rachel Parcell aesthetic into marketable paper products to expand the fashion label’s reach into larger lifestyle audiences.

  • Audrey worked in-house as a Designer at Retrofête, helping launch the brand in 2017 to huge commercial success. As the brand grew, Audrey took the lead on all exclusive collections and special projects, including bridal capsules, retailer exclusives with Net-a-Porter, FWRD, and Intermix, private label development with Revolve, and designing custom pieces for celebrities such as Blake Lively and Danielle Bernstein. When Audrey transitioned out of a full-time role, she continued to support the brand in special projects via Retainer & Project Support, most recently designing a collection of holiday handbags to launch the brand’s foray into accessories.

  • Audrey worked as the Senior Designer on the conception and the launch of mission-focused, NYC brand Ser.O.Ya. Since the brand’s successful launch in 2021, we’ve since supported Ser.O.Ya’s seasonal collection development, managing womenswear design and development of the brand’s Fall ‘21 and Holiday ‘21/22 collections, via Retainer & Project Support.

  • Working with a womenswear apparel wholesaler, Audrey helped manage the design, development, and production of specialty dresses and sets white labeled at Free People. To this day, Audrey’s unique experience in white labeling and private labeling benefits her clients as they leverage lucrative partnerships with retailers around the globe.
