“Audrey's depth of understanding of design & technical knowledge has transformed our production. She streamlined and problem solved our design, product development, and production process, which has increased efficiency, reduced errors, made our suppliers happier-- ultimately both helping us financially and in a better end product. This, combined with her supportive and positive demeanor, made working with her the best choice we could have made as a business. I had been looking for an expert to come in and "fix" us in so many different areas-- and Audrey was this and more. Her impact has been huge!”

“Working with Audrey has been an absolute joy and continues to be a vital part of Rihla’s success. Her unmatched expertise in fit development and technical design has transformed the way we create our collections. From the Heritage Collection to our upcoming launches, Audrey’s talent in perfecting fits has allowed us to offer clothing that not only reflects our vision but fits our customers beautifully.
Audrey truly understands our brand’s mission. The master grading documents she developed are now the backbone of our production, ensuring sizing accuracy across every piece. Her profound understanding of garment construction and body proportions has taken our collections to the next level.
In addition, Audrey’s developmental calendar has been instrumental in keeping us aligned with seasonal timelines, a challenge we previously struggled with. Her foresight and ability to stay on top of every detail have been crucial as we continue to grow.
Most importantly, Audrey is still working with us, providing ongoing guidance and support. Her creativity, passion, and collaborative spirit have made her an irreplaceable partner, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have her expertise guiding us through each stage of development.
Thank you, Audrey, for being such a key part of the Rihla family. We look forward to continuing this journey with you!”

Our work with New Orleans-based womenswear brand Lekha spanned a variety of projects including seasonal collection development, custom textile and print design, and implementing new processes to streamline development and production with suppliers. Lekha’s handmade organic fabrics are meticulously crafted by skilled artisans in India before being sewn into garments by women’s empowerment collectives—proving fashion that is both laidback and luxe can be achieved both ethically and sustainably.
-
We also work with brands on executing strategic product collaborations. When Our Place pitched Lekha with a Diwali cookware collaboration, Lekha tapped us to help bring it to life. We translated Lekha’s inspiration and rough ideas into viable product specs and artworks to hand-off to the Our Place team. We designed an etched slotted spoon with a custom floral artwork, a cooling rack, and two hand-carved Diyas.

“As a small business that was looking for a way to be financially smart while also getting the best expertise for my unique denim idea, the support I received from Audrey was essential. Audrey has a lot of industry experience and she proved just that. However, not only was she helpful in terms of designing the exact denim I wanted (shape, fit, length, style) and connecting me with the right vendors, she was there for me each step of the way to answer all my questions - judgment free. I felt so comfortable with Audrey - important when working with someone! Thank you, Audrey!”

The owner of Short Girl Jean, Cici, came to us in 2022 with the dream of launching the first luxury denim label for short women. Through our 12 Months to Launch project, we created the perfect pair of jeans exclusively for short women, customizing every detail to fit and flatter bodies between 4’7-5’3. We managed every step of the design, development, and production process to bring these jeans to market in Fall 2023. Short Girl Jeans are Oeko-Tex certified and are responsibly composed of a post-consumer recycled cotton + sustainably sourced cotton blend. And they fit shorties like a charm!

In 2021, we embarked on a creative project to explore what it looks like to launch a sustainable capsule collection composed entirely of vintage and deadstock textiles. We walked through our 12 Months to Launch process to bring the Adele Rose ‘Origin Stories’ collection to life. We successfully managed the unconventional manufacturing process of using found materials, gaining valuable insights alongside our suppliers and small-batch producers throughout the project.
